The 1SGEA organised a “poire flurilingue”
An empty box’ – and what it yielded!
As part of a module on multilingualism, students in class 1SGEA transformed an empty box into creative boxes containing children’s stories invented and/or translated into at least two other languages, accompanied by adapted games, a mascot and other materials to bring the story to life.
On 3 June 2025, 25 partner groups presented their suitcases, crates and lunch boxes with great imagination, linguistic sensitivity and pedagogical talent. The management, some internal colleagues, learners from other training courses and external experts were enthusiastic. The 1SGEA teachers were also impressed to see what had been created from these ‘empty boxes’ and to witness the commitment with which the students presented their work… WELL DONE!
Here we share some impressions of the ‘poire flurilingue’, full of surprises, inspiration and linguistic diversity.
