What is the objective of the training?

Vocational training as a nursery and landscape gardener provides students with a general, theoretical and practical education that enables them to obtain a vocational qualification certified by a Vocational Aptitude Diploma (DAP).

What does this training consist of?

The training leading to the diploma of nursery and landscape gardener normally takes 3 years, the first year of which is offered at ENAD as a full-time year at the school with work placements. The aim is to enable students to enter the world of work or to continue their studies with a view to obtaining a technician’s diploma (DT).

What are the characteristics of the job?

Nursery and landscape gardeners are mainly involved in the development and maintenance of green spaces and the production of plants for sale. They take care of plants and plan landscaped areas. They also advise customers. They can work for specialist companies or local authorities.
