Jean Asselborn at ENAD

On 7 May 2025, former Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn visited ENAD to give a talk and hold a question and answer session with the students of the DAES CP classes and the 3GSO.

One day before the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, Jean Asselborn appealed to the students not to fall into fatalism in the face of the many crises in the world, but to use their right to vote to support parties that stand up for the EU and democratic values.

The war in Ukraine, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with a plea for a Palestinian state, as well as an analysis of the USA under Donald Trump and the current situation of the EU rounded off the interesting exchange.
