The COR+ in Cascais

In April 2025, the students of the COR+ class spent a week in Cascais, Portugal, under the motto ‘Be Your Surf – Surfing, Fun & New Experiences’. Together with ENAD, Artsquarelab, the SNJ and thanks to the support of Œuvre Nationale, the young people were able to experience a week full of action, learning and community in Cascais as part of the ‘Be Your Surf’ project.

Highlights included a first surf lesson – nervousness, courage and lots of fun in the water included; a trip to Lisbon with shopping, a visit to the Benfica stadium and even a small van breakdown; dinners together, free time and new friendships.

The young people discovered new sides to themselves and strengthened their team spirit.

For many, it was the first trip of its kind and a step towards independence and self-confidence.
